Terms of Service
Last updated: 20 September 2026
1. Using Radio Editorial
Radio Editorial includes a curated publication and Open Frequency, a public creator publishing service. By using the service you agree to these terms and to use the platform lawfully.
2. Creator accounts
Creator accounts let you draft, collaborate and publish to Open Frequency. You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity performed through your account. Internal newsroom, moderation, automation and distribution tools are reserved for authorised Radio Editorial staff.
3. Your content
You retain ownership of original material you submit. By publishing, you give Radio Editorial a non-exclusive licence to host, display, format, distribute and promote that material as part of the service, including in feeds, newsletters and social promotion. You must have the rights needed for text, images, audio, video and other material you upload or embed.
4. What you may not publish
Do not use the service for unlawful content, threats, harassment, hateful abuse, doxxing, impersonation, scams, malware, fabricated evidence or quotations, serious unsupported allegations, copyright infringement, or deceptive spam. Radio Editorial may block publication, unpublish material or suspend accounts where reasonably necessary to protect readers, creators, the platform or third parties.
5. AI assistance and automated checks
Open Frequency can use AI to help create a starting draft and to review the final draft for factual, sourcing and safety concerns. These systems can make mistakes. Passing an automated check is not a guarantee that an article is accurate, lawful or complete, and creators remain responsible for what they publish. Where AI materially assists creation, the article may display that provenance.
6. Editorial and community content
Open Frequency articles are creator-published and are clearly distinguished from Radio Editorial's curated editorial publication. A community article may later be highlighted as "Selected by Radio Editorial"; selection does not transfer authorship or ownership.
7. Radio Editorial material
Radio Editorial retains rights in its original editorial material, branding, design and software. You may share published links and quote reasonably with attribution, but may not reproduce protected material commercially without permission unless another licence applies.
8. Availability and limits
We may apply reasonable generation, publication, storage and rate limits, and may change or discontinue features. The service is provided "as is" without a promise of uninterrupted availability.
9. Liability and corrections
Content is provided for informational and cultural purposes and is not professional advice. If you believe published material is wrong, unsafe or infringes your rights, contact Radio Editorial so it can be reviewed. To the extent permitted by law, Radio Editorial is not responsible for losses arising solely from reliance on creator-published content.
10. Changes
We may update these terms as the service develops. Material changes will be reflected on this page. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
